“Is Legal Always Ethical? Mobilizing Systems and Taking Creative Action” Workshop, May 17 @ 9AM-12 PM

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming two-day Social Work Law and Ethics Workshop, hosted by The SoCal Social Work Women’s Council.

Session two will address how laws/regulation and guidelines reflect social values and impact social services, promoting or impeding social justice. Specific examples will include discussion of the changes in mandatory reporting requirements, Care Court Implementation and process involved in the recent  shift in social work curriculum at California State University Long Beach (CSULB) from multiculturalism to critical race theory.
